In January 2024, CIWES-ICFIS published a book entitled “Women’s Contributions to Science and Technology through ICWES Conferences”. Authors Monique Frize, Ruby Head and Claire Deschenes, in collaboration with Karine Laporte, documented the ICWES triennial conferences, their creation in 1964, their rich scientific content and their spinoffs, such as INWES, CIWES-ICFIS and AFFESTIM (Springer, Women in Engineering and Science collection, ISBN-13 978-3031338021).
